- Electricity: Exposure to electrical equipment or faulty electrical equipment can cause burns electrocution and other serious injuries to you, your staff or your customers.
- Manual Handling: Do you, your staff, or your customers have to carry heavy, awkward loads? Have they received the correct manual handling training to ensure that carrying these loads won’t result in injury? Carrying heavy loads, pushing or pulling the load can result in serious injury to you, your staff or your customers.
- Slip and trip hazards at your premises – trailing wires/ faulty chairs or equipment / untidy or slippery floors
- Fire: – make sure you don’t take short cuts on your equipment being in sound condition and you don’t overload fuse boards – A Smoke detector might set you back €5 but it could save a life or your business
