- Work at height: If you are taking pictures from a height, there is a risk of falling objects from above or there is a risk of you falling causing serious injury to you, your staff or your customers.
- Broken glass/ crockery: If you are working at weddings or functions for example there may be broken glass, this can cause serious injury to you or your staff.
- Infrared light: Being exposed to infrared light can cause burns, it can damage the skin and eyes and can cause other serious injuries to you, your staff or your customers.
- Lighting equipment: Lighting equipment can get hot, this can result in burns and if lighting equipment falls it can cause burns and other serious injuries to you, your staff or your customers.
- Processing and printing equipment: Using processing or printing equipment, for photo or film can cause dermatitis, burns or skin irritations from chemicals used in the process and cuts, entanglements and lacerations can cause serious injuries to you or your staff.
- Ultra Violet (UV) light: Being exposed to UV light can cause burns, skin damage and can damage eyes, and other serious injuries to you or your staff.
- Standing for long periods: If you have to stand for long periods of time, it may result in muscle fatigue, this can lead to back, neck or shoulder pain for you, your staff or your customers.
- Props: If you are using unsuitable or damaged props you may cause burns, cuts or other serious injuries to you, your staff or your customers.
